For the Past 10 Years, our community in Ohio has come together to rejoice in the city of Cleveland's abundant cultural diversity. This year, the City of Cleveland sponsored a Women's Forum Night, titled "Strength Through Unity" at the "ritzy" Cleveland City Club.

Susan Taylor, noted author and editor-in-chief of Essence Magazine was the keynote speaker. YWCA Executive Director, Barbara Danforth was the chair of this forum.

A dynamic group of diverse women, including Cleveland's very own first woman mayor; Ms. Jane Campbell, Attorneys; Meena Morey-Chandra and Margaret Wong, Community Advocates; Magda Gomez and Yvonne Pointer, and Executive Editor/Publisher of Al-Sahafa Ohio Newspaper; Miss Fatina Salaheddine.

An evening of great discussion covered such topics as issues encountered based on gender, religion, and race.
